Greek-Style Lamb Roast

Quick Post + Quick Preparation + Long Cooking = Delicious + juicy + succulent lamb roast.

Ingredients:
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Olive oil
  • Handful of garlic cloves, whole
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2kg lamb leg
  • 6 potatoes, whole and with skin
  • 2 red onions, quartered
  • 1 tbsp dried mixed herbs
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  •  Salt and Pepper to taste
Steps:
  1. Combine lemon juice,olive oil, crushed garlic, dried mixed herbs, salt and pepper. Rub into skin of meat.
  2. Roast lamb in 180 degree celcius for appox 2 hours or until the juices runs clear when you test with skewer.
  3. 45 to 60 minutes before the lamb is ready, add in potatoes,onion and garlic cloves. Drizzle 1 tbsp of olive oil on top.

TIPS:
  • Roast approx 1 kg per hour
