Beef Rissoles

Well, you can actually substitute the beef to chicken mince or lamb mince. I haven't try with pork mince but i guess it will work the same.

Ok, for the beef rissoles you will need..

500g beef mince

4 clove garlic finely chopped (if you are not garlic lover 1 clove will be sufficient for the aroma)
OR 1 tbsp of garlic paste (not garlic lover 1tsp will be sufficient)

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 tsp of dried mix herbs

1/3 cup tomato paste

1/2 cup grated Single craft cheese (can use grated parmean cheese too)

2 tbsp basil and parmesan paste (its available at any supermarket at sauce and pasta section)
OR 2 tbsp chopped basil

2 tbsp water

Salt and Pepper to taste

The REASONS why you should try this:-

1. Place beef mince and the rest of the rest of the ingredient in a large bowl. Season salt and pepper. Mix to combine.

2. Preheat oven to moderate 180 degree celcious.

3. Take 3 tbsp of mixture and shape into rissoles (bigger than meatballs but smaller than burger). Lightly brush rissoles with oil (both side).

4. Preheat a pan to moderately-high. Add rissoles , lower the heat to moderate and cook for 2-3 minutes each side. Then, place those rissoles on an oven tray and cook in the pre-heated oven for 10 minutes or until cooked through.

Now.. suggestion to serve.... I serve with pasta which I lightly toss with sauteed sliced cup mushroom with basil and parmesan paste with the side of some lettuce and cucumber. You can also serve them with flat bread or garden salad or any salad to your liking and i guess mashed potatoes will do the trick too.
