Cabbage and Egg Stir Fry

This dish only took about 10 minutes to cook.It is filling, delicious and appetizing.

  • 1/3 medium cabbage, cored and shred to 1/4 inch
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce OR soy sauce
  • a dash of white pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 30ml water
  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil and light scramble the egg. Set aside
  2. In the same wok/pan, add in remaining oil and stir in garlic until fragrant over medium high heat. Then, add in cabbage stir fry for 2 minutes or until heated through, add in fish sauce and pepper. Continue stir frying until you can see the cabbage starting to turns bright green  and translucent. Add in scrambled egg. Mix well with the cabbage, and add in water. Bring to boil, adjust the taste (adding the salt or not) and serve.
